Payment Conditions

In general, we off the following payment methods: credit card (Visa/Mastercard), on account, PayPal, and PayPal Express. We reserve the right not to offer certain payment methods and to refer to other payment methods for each order. Please refer to our additional information on the exclusion of certain payment methods below.

Please note that we only accept payment on account for customers residing within the European Union (EU). However, we stress that for certain products deviations may apply, see the rules on the exclusion of certain payment methods below. In no case do we assume the costs of a money-transaction.

For purchases on account, the purchase price is due for payment on the day of the customer receiving the delivery. If payment is not made withing 14 days of the due date the customer shall be considered in default.

Purchase price calculation: Subscription: Recurring annual calculation, single calculation in the course of product delivery for all other products

Credit card charge date: The invoice total is immediately charged in full upon order completion.

Credit card credit: Eligible credits (e.g. returns) are immediately credited to the debited credit card.

Data transfer: All data is transferred via a secure SSL connection

3D-Secure/Verified by Visa: This method is not offered


Rules for exclusion of certain payment methods:

Rule 1:

  • Seminars may only be booked on account - this rule then extends to the entire cart. /li>

Rule 2:

  • Private customers may only buy digital products via credit card or PayPal (not on account) - this rule then extends to the entire cart.
  • Exception: A private customer simultaneously buys a seminar and a digital product, then on account becomes the only viable payment method for the entire cart (meaning the first rule beats the second rule)

Rule 3:

  • All customers (private and corporate) from outside the EU (with Switzerland and Liechenstein being exceptions) may only buy digital products, books, and CD-ROMs via credit card or PayPal (not on account)
  • Exception: A seminar is part of the cart meaning the purchase can only be done on account (meaning the first rule beats the third rule)
